Reglazing Joinery – Retrofit - Replacing the Glass
Got that single-glazed-window feeling – like you’re heating the neighbourhood instead of your home?
Reglazing existing aluminium joinery can be done in a number of ways. The choice of beading will determine whether the finished job looks neat and tidy or some kind of insert-clipon.
The basic principle is achieved by removing single glazed glass and replacing it with double glazed glass but retaining the original aluminium window or door frame.
Best results are achieved by sourcing the extrusions of the original manufacturer of the joinery as alternative methods can sometimes be unsightly and impose on your vista.
Our staff can provide you with advice and guidance or can refer you to an independent subcontractor who will assess the best method for the best results.
